After spending about a month looking at new ovens, we decided on this one. We do a lot of cooking and it had all of the features (and then some) that we needed and the design is very appealing. We have found it to be very efficient, offers several different cook modes and is easy to clean. After about a month of using it, I have no complaints and am looking forward to using all the features it has to offer. I would also add that prior to purchasing it, we spoke with an appliance repair technician and Frigidaire was highly recommended for reliability, which was one of my major concerns.

The only two draw backs to this range are when you are standing close to the front dials The LCD panel on the front is easily turned on when standing and cooking and the second the rack in the oven that has the roll out extender on it takes up too much space inside the oven if you really need full space between racks to cook multiple pieces of cookware, for example when I am cooking for large parties.. Other than these I am enjoying my new range.

We are very pleased with the purchase of this new range. My wife and I cook a great deal and have found it be far more useful and efficient than our previous model. The cooking surface is varied enough to handle nearly all types of cookware and heats very quickly. It also seems to be more durable than other glass cooktops that we have used in the past. The oven is extremely efficient and heats in a fraction of the time that other conventional ovens do. The circulating fan is likely the reason, and not only does it preheat fast it maintains even cooking temperatures extremely well- even after opening the door it returns to set point fast. We have not yet tried the air fry feature but are looking forward to it!

Inconsistent Oven Temperature

I have owned this model for almost a year and have fought w/ oven temperatures being off from the set temperature and what is read on the display. On average it is a 20-30 temperature swing. I had a repair performed about 5 months ago and he replaced the board and temp probe. I am still having the same issues w/ inconsistent temperatures and recently placed a high-quality temperature probe in the middle of the rack and performed many temperature delta data readings. The temperatures were all over the place from the set temp, to the reading from the temp probe on the display and my temp probe. they averaged 20-35 degrees. What is odd is if the oven lost temperature, it would never regain the loss. If it dropped 30 degrees, it would never recover that loss. That is why there is such a variance in cooking. I don't understand why it is so inconsistent but for the price, you would expect a excellent working product!!

Burners turn on when barely touched

I love the look and function of this range but if you walk by it and barely brush against the knobs the burners come on unexpectedly. This has happens several times in the 60 days we have had it. I am considering replacing it with a range with the knobs in back. Very disappointed I constantly check it. It is somewhat stressful. I never expected it would be a fire hazard.

Beautiful range with a decent amount of quirks

In our new home we were looking for a range that had similar features to the range in our old home. Some of the features we wanted were ball bearing gliding oven racks and probe cooking. The PCFE3078AF appeared to have the majority of the features we were looking for. Fast forward to today and we have buyer's remorse. For starters, one of the wires for the surface element was pinched during manufacturing. This caused sparks to shoot out of the range the first time we used the oven when the insulation burned off the wire and it shorted to the chassis. Next, the design of the surface elements are less than ideal as there is only one large element in the front. All of the elements seem way underpowered compared to our old range. Also, the oven is temperamental. The temperature is set using a potentiometer dial rather than a digital control. On several occasions the oven temperature will get set "between" two temperatures causing it to switch back and forth to preheat mode. During preheat the broiler element is activated so when this happens it will burn the items in your oven and the control panel will constantly beep until you slightly turn the temperature adjustment knob. It seems like long term reliability is questionable and I would hesitate to recommend this range. I've rated it 2 stars because it really is a nice looking range.

I am still getting acquainted with my new range. It has many different options I have yet to use for baking. The heat up time is quicker than my last range. Air fry is nice but it can be messy depending on the food. The suggestion to put a pan under the basket shelf was necessary. Still trying to determine is the temperature is accurate.

We had the range for about 3 weeks now and all works great. Also much easier to keep clean that a gas range. Baked cookies and also used the air fryer to make french fries and they came out perfect. Only 2 downsides that I discovered after using the appliance: the oven timer is just that: a timer. It doesn't have the capacity to stop baking after a set time. Second thing - oven temperature is only adjustable in 25F intervals - that is a problem for baking when recipes need an exact temperature.

A lot of Oven Modes.

The oven has a ton of options on the style of backing/cooking. That is very impressive. Love the look of this Oven but with ours it did not slide all the way back in. That is the installers issues not Frigidaire. Once installed there is a cap and the trip company that we were referred to by the Store ran $3o0-$400 which is too expensive. We are looking for an alternative. So that is not Frigidaire's issue, but they could have designed the oven to be able to be installed without any extra needed trim. Not sure if that is the same across other ovens now. The knobs are very easily turned so we are constantly scrambling when we bump into them and turn top elements on. We are going to ask the dishwasher repair man to see if we can tighten those knobs.
